WHAT IS CANCER COACHING?

At Cancer Coach we believe that being diagnosed with a life-threatening disease like cancer is not the end. After your diagnosis you may experience a mix of emotions from disbelief, distress, to anger and depression, and these emotions could last as long as you allow them to. You will seek diagnosis and treatments from a number of professional healthcare providers, but no one will provide the support you may not know you need during your journey. That is where Cancer Coach can help you!

Cancer Coach’s Goal:  Our team aims to support you as an individual, not just another statistic.  We will help you navigate your journey and assist you medically, physically and emotionally.

Who is it for?: Our programme is suitable for all cancer patients, whether you are undergoing treatments, looking to improve your immune system and quality of life or seeking to find the best treatment for your cancer.

PEDIATRIC CANCER

Once a year there is a #WorldCancerDay, but every day is Cancer Day for individuals and families fighting cancer.

A cancer coach helps these patients -  and those around them - navigate their lives during these challenging times.

1.6 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Approximately 16,000 of those are pediatric patients, ages 0-19 years old.

When a child has cancer, the entire family is in the journey. Can you imagine how many people are impacted by cancer as family member or friends? The stress and emotional load on this support system is often been overlooked, especially when it comes to those who are the closest.

Cancer coaching helps lighten the load, and minimize the stress during  these challenging times.

Cancer affects families physically, emotionally, and financially, and the struggles don't stop after treatment. It is important that we take care of the people and their families facing the challenges created by cancer.
